                	Oshibana Perfume Bottle Parent Workshop
The Student Support Team of our school organized a parent workshop on October 4, which was designed to improve mental wellbeing for both students and teachers. The workshop began with a mindfulness session, inviting students and teachers to slow down, breathe deeply, and pay attention to the present moment. This simple practice helped create a calm and reflective atmosphere, allowing participants to relax the body and mind and reduce stress.
During the workshop, participants were introduced to the art of Oshibana—a Japanese technique using pressed flowers—to decorate perfume bottles. This process encouraged artistic expression and patience. Participants also had the opportunity to create their own fragrances by selecting and blending the essential oils.
More than just a stress-relief activity, the workshop deepened the bond between students, teachers, and families, fostering a shared sense of mindfulness, creativity, and emotional connection.
