On the 8th December, Miss Wong and four students took part in the Graduation Ceremony and Opening Ceremony of the “Little Writer Training Programme” held by Ming Pao and the Standing Committee on Language Education and Research. The aim of this programme is to develop students’ interest in reading and writing. This programme covers different type of writing, including new poems, prose, film reviews, food reviews, travel notes. It helps students to understand the writing skills and creative thinking of writers, and thus improve their literary literacy. After the ceremony, famous writer Mr. Gang Kai Man, Mr. Avin Tong and Mr. Pu Wai were invited to give us a speech, sharing their writing experiences. The talk is inspirational and all of the participants benefit enormously.
