Form 1 Parents’ Talk
A Form 1 Parent’s Talk was held on 25th of August in our school hall. The objective of the talk was to help our secondary school's freshmen and their parents better understand the operation of our school and the learning environment before starting their life at secondary school. In the talk, our principal, vice principals and other teachers introduced the school policies and facilities. Moreover, they provided several advice regarding how the students could overcome difficulties and have good self- discipline. After that, we had a great chance to invite a graduate to give a talk about the differences between her life at secondary school and life at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and give some tips on how to learn well to encourage our F.1 students to cherish every moment in secondary school. Finally, our educational psychologist and the social worker also shared some parent-child communication skills and introduced their working hours so that our students can see them if they need help. Everyone wished our Form 1 students and teachers had a fruitful year!
