English Drama - ‘Nice Girl’
On Friday 24th May the English drama group performed a play called ‘Nice Girl’ as part of the school’s annual Aesthetic Night show.
The drama was about students at a girls’ school and one student in particular called Mia. During the play, Mia learnt that she was sick and tired of being the ‘nice girl’, the one who everyone walked over and took for granted. As a result, she boiled over and her fantasies became reality.
The performances of both the main and supporting characters were outstanding. The students’ hard work at rehearsals where they practised their lines, their movements on stage and singing and dancing, really paid off.
The audience of guests, parents and students thoroughly enjoyed the show and responded very enthusiastically. Special mention must also be made of drama tutor Joanna Ko who guided and coached the cast and crew so ably.
