SAGC debate team won a inter-school debate competition organized by Kwun Tong Outstanding Students' Association
We’re glad to report a success in the inter-school debating competition held at St. Paul's School (Lam Tin) on 24th November. Our school debate team comprising Li Cho Kiu(4B), Leung Mei Ting(4A), Cheung Ka Wai(4D) and Ngan Wai Man(5D) won a hard-fought debate against Yan Chai Hospital Law Chan Chor Si College. Also, Cheung Ka Wai(Third speaker) won the Best Debater of the match.
The debate motion is ''香港應限制新移民來港'', which is a hot issue of Hong Kong. Our debaters argued against the motion. The students worked together effectively to present arguments and examples that support the team’s stance.
