Athletic Meet
Our annual sports day was successfully held at Kowloon Bay Sports Ground on 13th December. Thanks to the nice weather, it was a wonderful opportunity for both teachers and students to put aside our books and participate in various track and field events.
The competition began with the extraordinary performances by the cheerleading teams of the four houses. Our talented athletes also displayed great athletic skills. Although competitions were keen, there was excellent sportsmanship and team spirit within the houses.
The invitation relay race was one of the highlights of the day. Students chanted enthusiastically from the spectator stands, encouraging the athletes in the breathtaking races. Finally, SKH Kei Hau Secondary School, PLK Celine Ho Yam Tong College and United Christian College beat the other teams and won the championship, 1st runner-up and 2nd runner-up respectively.
At the prize presentation ceremony, we were honoured to have invited Olympic marathon runner, Miss Christy Yiu Kit Ching to give us an inspiring speech. She shared with our students her road to success and encouraged everyone to pursue our dreams. We were all impressed by her endeavours and strong determination to participate in the Rio Olympic Games.
This year, the overall champion was Red House, while Yellow House won the best cheering performance. Well done!
