Cross-curricular activity: apm CNY Flea Market 2019
Our school had set up a booth at the apm Chinese New Year Flea market 2019 from 29th Janurary to 4th February for charity purposes. Following the “SOINNO Design Education Programme” in November, LS, T&L, Economics and BAFs organized this cross-curricular activity. We made use of the design thinking skills to design CNY festive products such as coffee cup sleeves, red envelops, lucky bags, masking tapes and handmade candies. Students learnt collaboration and communication skills as well business management through this activity. The event succeeded in bringing together all the school members. PTA members, alumni, teachers and fellow students assisted the set up and running of our booth. The creative CNY products were so attractive that they all sold out. The revenue from this activity will be donated to “Hong Kong Organ Transplant Foundation” and “Hong Kong Eye Hospital” to express our care and love to others.
