The Sixth Meeting of the Peer Mentoring Programme (Guidance and Counselling Team)
The sixth meeting was held on 28 March 2019. The aim of this meeting was to enhance students’ responsibility. At the beginning of the meeting, the F.4 big sisters played some guessing games about the roles of different people at school. This game helped bring out the message that each person should bear his / her own responsibility. Then, the big sisters did some case studies with the junior-form girls, asking them to analyze which character should shoulder the responsibility of each incident. Most F.1 students found this meeting fruitful as they understood the importance of being responsible.
As this was the last meeting of this academic year, the big sisters had a review on what topics were covered and asked the little sisters to fill in the questionnaire to evaluate the whole programme. The little sisters are also encouraged to contact the big sisters whenever they have any problems in the third term.
