Beijing Art and Culture Discovery Tour 2025/26 (October 14–17, 2025)
From October 14 to 17, 2025, ten senior secondary Visual Arts students from our school participated in a four-day "Beijing Art and Culture Discovery Tour" organized by the Education Bureau.

The students visited landmarks such as the 798 Art District, the Central Academy of Fine Arts, Beijing No. 12 High School at South Station, the National Grand Theatre, and the Former Residence of Soong Ching Ling. They rode rickshaws through the Hutongs, and explored Cultural Street and the China National Arts and Crafts Museum. Through these visits, discussions, and art creations, students were able to explore history and art, as well as learning about Beijing’s development in art education, experiencing the local classroom atmosphere and engaging in intangible cultural heritage creation. They will be able to apply the knowledge and attitudes learned from the experience to their future lives and artistic processes.

In addition, students had the opportunity to reflect on their own development opportunities based on what they saw and heard, allowing them to face academic and life challenges in a more active and creative way. At the same time, students experienced the local art culture, cultivated an interest in cultural activities, developed a deeper recognition and respect for Chinese culture and its underlying wisdom, and understood that safeguarding cultural security is an important foundation for maintaining national unity and stability.
