“Passing on the Torch Platform” : An Exploration into the History and Intangible Cultural Heritage in Xi’an and Yan’an
From April 22 to 26, 10 students from our school participated in "An Exploration into the History and Intangible Cultural Heritage in Xi’an and Yan’an" organized by the Education Bureau. They visited the Emperor Qinshihuang's Mausoleum Site Museum, the Yan'an Revolutionary Memorial Hall, the Yan'an Yangjialing Revolution Former Site, the Hukou Waterfall of the Yellow River, the Mausoleum of the HuangDi, the Shaanxi History Museum, and they also enjoyed Shaanxi opera. This activity increased students’ understanding of the motherland’s history and culture, enhanced their national identity, and made them feel proud of the motherland’s 5,000-year-long history and culture, as well as its beautiful natural scenery.
