Form 4 Visit to Qube Research and Technologies
A group of Form 4 students visited the offices of Qube Research and Technologies on Wednesday, July 8th 2026. This finance sector company specialises in using quantitative data to make their investment decisions.
The visit, named ‘Girls Go Tech’, was sponsored by The Women’s Foundation with the aim of exposing more female students to potential STEM careers within finance and technology. While there our students learnt about the basics of finance and investment. They also listened to a panel of female employees talking about their roles and career paths. These varied from cybersecurity, to HR and from audio-visual engineering to sales and relationship management.
The students listened very attentively and got the chance to talk one-on-one and ask questions of the speakers. They were impressed by the friendly staff, stylish environment, well-stocked pantry and entertainment facilities.
