The 15th Athletic Meet was held on 30 October 2008 at Kowloon Bay Sports Ground. Our Supervisor, Sister Ng Chun Yee officiated at the opening ceremony by leading everyone in a prayer thanking God for the chance tohave a beautiful sports ground with modern facilities. Sister Ng encouraged everyone to carry on the tradition of St Antonius Girls' College to try the best and overcome all obstacles. She reminded everyone that, above all, participation, friendship and harmony were more important than winning an event.

At the Sports Day, everyone participated enthusiastically to get points for their house. There were events for individuals from different grades, and relay events open to students and parents, students and teachers, students and groups of friends, and even alumni who came back to visit us. As usual, the item that captured everyone's attention was the spectacular performance of the cheering teams. Thank you to all members of the cheering teams for your effort in designing the beautiful costumes, choosing the songs, and for the hours and hours of rehearsals to make your performance flawless.

In the closing ceremony, our Principal, Ms S.M. Li thanked the Chairman of the Parents Teacher Association, Mr Chieh Shiu Kau, and parents who came to attend the Athletic Meet. In addition, she expressed appreciation for the support and co-operation of parents, all teachers and staff, and last but not least, students who worked their best to make the 15th Athletic Meet a great success.
