As part of the programme to promote Catholic hymns as well as foster a stronger religious atmosphere in school this year, the first-ever hymn singing competition was held at the school hall on 24th October,2008. There were a total of 14 classes, from Form 4 to Form 7, participating in the competition singing hymns of praise to God. Class teachers were also invited to share the joy of congregational singing. The excellent performances of students and teachers showed great enthusiasm and team work. Form 7A displayed great musicianship and were the “champions” while Form 5C and Form 5E were awarded second and third prize respectively. The hymn singing competition for junior classes will be held in the second term.
