We were honoured to have Mr. Law Kam Yau, principal of HKSYC & IA Wong Tai Shan Memorial College, and Mr. Tam Yiu Pui, Oscar, former principal of Maryknoll Fathers' School, to hold a professional sharing seminar. The topic of discussion was school self-evaluation and external school review. It was followed by a seminar on anxiety among teenagers, given by the social workers from Kowloon East Teamof The Child and Adolescent Mental Health Community Support Project.

Mr. Yau and Mr. Tam presented a number of concerns and strategies to enhance teaching effectiveness and school management. They analyzed the results of school review reports and explained the implications, with practical examples and hands-on experience. We concluded that the positive impact of self-evaluation can be sustained through continuous team spirit and collaboration.

The seminar which followed, gave a detailed introduction of common emotional disorders among students and the early identification and intervention services available to children and adolescents with mental health problems. The services greatly help teachers to deal with student emotional problems and offer appropriate help.
