Elderly visit

Visit to the Elderly 10.11.2007
33 students from the St. Antonius Girls' College Catholic Society and Moral Educational Team paid a visit to the elderly on 10th Nov, 2007. Both senior and junior form students joined this voluntary work organized by Chinese YMCA of Hong Kong (Lam Tin Centre). Ms. Jasmine Chan, the programme organizer, stated that the visit was successful and the senior citizens felt happy and valued while talking with the students. During the visit, students interviewed their elders and asked about their needs. A package of gifts including rice, towels and biscuits was given to them as well. After the visit, students better understood the importance of family and that they must value what they have.
