The 14th Athletic Meet was held on 7 November 2007 at Kowloon Bay Sports Ground. Our Supervisor, Sister Ng Chun Yee officiated at the opening ceremony by leading everyone into a prayer thanking God for the chance to let us have a sports ground with modern facilities on the sports day and asking God to bless us with a safe and enjoyable day.

Sister Ng encouraged everyone to carry on the tradition of St Antonius, being brave and unafraid of obstacles. She hoped that all the competitors would give their best to excel in the events, while the spectators would give their full support by enthusiastically and whole-heartedly cheering for their classmates and houses. Sister Ng emphasized that above all, participation, friendship and harmony were more important than winning an event.

The 14th Athletic Meet was a wonderful day for everyone to get out of the classroom and enjoy themselves in the open air. The highlights this year were the inter-house relays, open events for students and their parents in a team, and events for students, teachers and groups of friends from different forms.

Finally, the Athletic Meet came to the climax when everyone was awed by the spectacular dance performance of the cheering teams. Thank you to all members of those teams for your hours and weeks of rehearsals. Thank you for your wonderful effort selecting songs and designing costumes to make your performance perfect.

Our Principal thanked the Chairman of the Parents Teacher Association, Mr Chieh, and parents who came to attend the sports day. She also thanked all staff and students who contributed to its success.
