On 16th December, the students of the Catholic Society organized a joint-school activity with the Catholic Society of Choi Hung Estate Catholic Secondary School - to visit St. Thomas the Apostle Church in Tsing Yi.
As soon as the group arrived, Rev. Joseph Yim of St. Thomas the Apostle Church welcomed all the students and briefly introduced the history and characteristics of the church. A short mass was then held by Rev. Charlton Plateros of Choi Hung Estate Catholic Secondary School. In the mass, students sang some Christmas hymns and prepared to celebrate the birth of Jesus with joyful hearts. Lastly, there was a role play game about various Bible stories, which was a good chance for students to reinforce their religious knowledge. All participants shared a happy time during the visit and learnt more about Catholic beliefs.
