Our Supervisor, Sister Ng Chun Yee, officiated at the opening of the 13th Athletic Meet at Kowloon Bay Sports Ground, encouraging all the competitors to try their best, and the spectators to take part enthusiastically and whole-heartedly in the events by cheering for their classmates and houses. Sister Ng emphasized that, above all, participation and friendship were more important than winning an event.
The 13th Athletic Meet was a great day for everyone. There were events for students representing their house, events for students and their parents on a team, and even events for students, teachers and parents together, to promote co-operation and harmony among them. One of the most spectacular events was the cheering team competition. The cheering teams had rehearsed their dances for many weeks before the competition and they had spent a lot of time and effort designing the costumes and giving of their best. Well done, everyone!
