Dear Lord,

We thank you for this life which is filled with so many opportunities. Thank you for leading us into another new week, in which our chance for happiness and fulfillment is renewed every morning.

This coming Wednesday is Life Wide Learning Day. Students are going out to different places to learn outside the classroom. We pray that they will have a safe and enjoyable day, and that they will open their minds to this new information. 

The coming Thursday is the holiday to celebrate Buddha's birthday. We pray that the city will be filled with love and hope. We also pray that our students will make good use of this one-day holiday to rest and refresh themselves before their intensive study for the coming exams.  

Lord, this coming Sunday is the global day of prayer. Let us all take this opportunity to remember the comfort and hope that lie in prayer, and use this gift to enhance our quality of life and understand its meaning. Some people will gather in the Hong Kong Stadium and pray together for renewal in our city. We pray that the people of Hong Kong will open their hearts to experience your love and grace.

The Month of May is the Month of Mary. We would like to ask Mary, the Mother of Jesus, to pray for world peace so that Jesus may grant love and care to this world.

Lord, hear our prayer!
