Dear Lord,

Thank you for granting us a long holiday to celebrate the Lunar New Year and the opportunity to visit our relatives and friends to show our caring.

Lunar New Year is the biggest festival in China. Lord, please help us to take this chance to think about our relationships with people. Our parents love us so much that they are ready to give us everything we need. When we were children, we took our parents' love for granted. As we grow up, we may become very self-centred and sometimes indifferent to others. However, as we move on, we have to understand that we do not live as individuals, we live in a community. We should be thankful for that and considerate towards others. Lord, please help us to be grateful for the love we have. Let us care about our friends’ feelings in order to live harmoniously with them.

We would like to wish for Hong Kong to keep its prosperity and stability this year. Lord, please guide us in making our wishes for the year of the Pig and to have practical plans for fulfilling them.

Form 7 students will start their mock exams today. Please grant them wisdom to manage their time well and to try their best for their exams. Help them to have clear minds in answering questions.
