Dear Lord,

This year’s first term examination is over. Teachers of different subjects will start distributing the examination results to the students. Please grant that students with good results can continue to work hard and keep up with their studies and the students with poor results will not give up and try their best to improve in the second term.

Many distinguished Hong Kong athletes took part in the Asian Games 2006 in Doha. Their results have been encouraging. At the age of 33, Hong Kong Cyclist Wong Kam Po won Hong Kong’s first gold medal. Many people had suggested that his career as a road racer should be over at this age. Despite this comment, he endeavoured to keep up with his training and then successfully won the gold medal. Lord, please grant our students the wisdom to understand that success can be achieved through hard work.

The theme for this month is `Distinguishing between the right and wrong.’ Dear Lord, please help our students study well in different subjects so that they can obtain sufficient knowledge to judge what is right and what is wrong. Grant them integrity to uphold truth and justice.
