Dear Lord,

We celebrated National Day last Sunday. Many people gathered at Golden Bauhinia Square to watch the flag-raising ceremony.

Today, we would like to pray for our motherland. We hope that China will become a prosperous and stable country where people can live peacefully and harmoniously. Please give wisdom to the Chinese leaders so that they can develop good policies to improve the nation’s economy, and to the Chinese people so that they can handle their changing conditions. As for us, help us grasp every opportunity to learn more about the history and culture of our mother country.

October is the Month of the Rosary. Let us pray to Holy Mary. Please remove hatred from among us and grant peace to the world.
