October is the month devoted to the Holy Rosary. We recited it every week, and meditated upon the great mysteries of the life of Jesus Christ. Students made little sacrifices as a devotion to Holy Mary. We also prayed to her to grant peace to the world. As a concluding rite for this month, the Catholic Society of our school organized the Procession of Our Lady on 25th October 2006. We all gathered in front of the shrines of Holy Mary in the playground. Students sang hymns, said the rosary and presented flowers to show their respect to our heavenly mother. The ceremony ended after the procession had walked round the school once so that we would be full of grace and be able to excel ourselves throughout this year.
