The Civic Education Team has jointly organized a Service Programme with the YMCA, in which senior form students hold activities for their Form One schoolmates, to give them support in their learning and personal development. There are altogether eight sessions to be held between October and December. The purpose is to help Form One students establish their self-confidence and develop a sense of belonging.
Apart from giving Form One students guidance in their homework, there is also a theme in each session, in order to increase students' civic awareness. These include 'Social Justice', 'Basic Law','Citizens'Responsibility', 'Environmental Protection' and 'Human Rights'.
The first session was conducted on 14th October 2006. Students found it very helpful and meaningful.
