The 9th Annual General Meeting of the Parents and Teachers Association was held at 9:00 a.m. on Sunday, 15 October 2006 at the School Hall.
Our Principal warmly welcomed all parents who came to attend the meeting and thanked them for their support. She pointed out that the school has many innovative programs for students, such as enhancement programs in Maths, English and Chinese, programs for gifted and talented students, a growth program for Form One students, Liberal Studies for Forms One and Two students, a life-wide learning day and so on. All of the special programs are aimed at motivating students and enriching their learning experience. She stressed that there is a need for the school, teachers and parents to work together for the benefit of the students. She thanked the Chairlady of the Parents and Teachers Association and all the committee members of the past year for their enthusiasm, support and tireless effort throughout the year to make the PTA a success.
New committee members for this year were elected, and the Principal thanked them for the time and effort they are willing put into the school. She said that she looked forward to working hand in hand with them in the coming year. The first Committee Meeting was held right after the AGM. Matters about this year's activities, home-school co-operation plans, parents' education programmes and so on were discussed.
