Thanks to Ms P.Y.Leung, the Careers Guidance Team of our school recommended Ng Wing Yee, who is now studying in F.6A, to participate in the Support Measures for Exceptionally Gifted Students Scheme in 2004, and since then, she has joined altogether three courses on leadership skills training. They are the Mentoring Scheme programme, launched by the University of Science and Technology, the 3rd Basic Leadership Skills Training for Exceptionally Gifted Students–Phase II, in 2004, and also the Leadership Skills Training for Exceptionally Gifted Students (I)–Social Leader of the New Generation, in 2006.
During these years, she has had the chance of interviewing many famous leaders in Hong Kong, including the Legislative Councillor, Ms Lau Wai Hing, and the Commissioner of Police, Mr Lee Ming Kwai. Wing Yee has said that she has learnt a great deal from these courses, and improved her communication skills including her presentation skills.
