"Our careers guidance team participated in the School Company Partnership 2005-06 (First Semester) Program held by the Youth Development Council and won the "Best Performance School-Company Partnership" award of this year. The company we were matched with was Reuters (Hong Kong) Co. Ltd. There were 46 school participants and 16 of them got the award. The certificate of award was presented to our Principal and Careers Mistress by the Permanent Secretary for Education and Manpower, Mrs Fanny Law, at the sharing and closing ceremony, held on 14th July, 2006.
Two of our student members joined the ceremony and shared their feelings. They said they had learnt a great deal from this program. Their mindset had become positive prior to entering the workforce, and they felt that they were able to adopt a flexible, open attitude, and a self-motivating, "go-for-it" spirit through personal experience sharing and lively exchange with the Company Ambassadors. They expressed their gratitude to the company, 'Reuters' and also to the YDC, and they said they were very proud of being members of this program.
