The theme of this month is “Being taken care of”. We need to be aware of the tender loving care we have from our parents, family, teachers and friends. At the same time, we should offer a little kindness to give warmth to the needy in society. |

In the assembly, 11 of our students who visited Nin Nan (連南), a remote village in Canton, during the Easter Holiday, shared with us their experience in helping the school children there, and what they have learnt in the visit. |
|
Although life in a remote village was hard, the girls enjoyed playing games and teaching the school children there. They cooked for the children's family and worked together with the children to improve the environment of the school. |
|
All those who participated in the visit said they have learned to cherish everything they have. Most of all, they realize that they are so lucky to have the opportunities and facilities provided by our school for them to learn. They have decided to work hard and try their best to do well. |

The Service Visit to Nin Nan (連南服務體驗團) was jointly organized by World Vision and the Christian Family Service Centre, in an initiative called 3S Engineering. (3S stands for sharing, serving and strengthening) To prepare for the 4 days and 3 nights’visit, our students received training in voluntary service and drama earlier on with two other participating schools, S.K.H. Kei Hau Secondary School and Ning Po Public School. |
