Outstanding Alumna (4.5.06)

One of our former students, Lau Ching Yin, is taking a Dual Degree Program (BEng Computer Engineering and BBA General Business Management) at Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. She has been placed on the Dean’s List. On 4th, May, 2006, I was invited to be a special guest at an award ceremony to celebrate Ching Yin’s achievement.

Before the ceremony, I joined the President of the University, Paul C W Chu and his staff members for lunch. We exchanged views on educational issues and explored ways to foster closer collaboration between the university and secondary schools. They also talked about their plans for the Curriculum Development and Admission Requirement of the 3-3-4 system.

On behalf of the school, I would like to congratulate Ching Yin for her achievement. I would also like to take this opportunity to encourage every one of you to work to the best of your ability to create a successful path for your future.
