Graduation Ceremony (7.7.2005)
On 7th July, 2005, the 30th St. Antonius Girls’ College Graduation Ceremony, which was also the 27th Graduation Ceremony for Form 7 graduates, was held at 6:30pm at the school hall where the graduates and their parents gathered excitedly for this special event. We were particularly pleased to welcome one of our old girls, Mrs. Katina Levy, an adjudicator of the Small Claims Tribunal, to deliver the commencement speech and present certificates to the graduates.
After the singing of the school song, Supervisor Rev. Sr. Virginia Ng led us in prayer and delivered a welcome speech, followed by the principal's school report. The report gave parents and guests had a thorough understanding of the school’s policies and students' performance including their public exam results and participation in extra-curricular activities.
In addition to congratulating the graduates for their dedication, Mrs. Levy brought us back to the old days and gave us an opportunity to reminisce about the wonderful times we shared in St. Antonius Girls’ College. After the presentation of certificates to the graduates, there was a prize presentation to acknowledge remarkable achievements in extra-curricular activities and academic studies. This memorable evening ended with the graduates' singing of 'Auld Lang Syne' and an attractive dance performance by the Dance Club.
