Outstanding Achievement

The National Day Extravganza was held on 23rd September at Queen Elizabeth Stadium. It was our great honour that Lam Lam (F.7) was invited to be one of the mistresses of ceremonies. Teachers and students from our school attended the event to support Lam Lam. She gave an outstanding performance with her clear voice and good posture. There were plenty of wonderful items conducted by students from various secondary and primary schools to celebrate the National Day. Lam Lam was nominated to take part in the `Award Scheme for Hong Kong Student Leaders: National Education Course’ from 11th to 21st July 2004 in Beijing. Because of her excellent performance, she was invited to represent fellow Hong Kong students in delivering a speech in the graduation ceremony there. When she came back to Hong Kong, Lam Lam had the chance to talk about her valuable experience with some important people such as the Chief Executive, Mr. Tung Chee Hwa, the Secretary for Education and Manpower, Professor Arthur Li and the Permanent Secretary for the Education and Manpower, Mrs. Fanny Law. Again, she displayed excellent skills. Lam Lam will strive hard to promote national education in school with what she has learned.
